I had never broken any bones until last year, at the age of 31. All at once, I broke my leg (the bone that attaches to the ankle), I broke my ankle in several places, and my ankle and leg became unattached. After surgery, I now have a metal plate and some screws holding everything together.
Did I mention that this happened after slipping on a piece of paper?

I never broke any, but that's because I just got my new four wheeler last year, and I wanted to be careful with it at first. I'll have about 20 broken in the next 10 years.
