Black is more expensive, but which LOOKS nicer?

Black. It is much sleeker & more modern looking.

I would say go for the white, you are looking at some discoloration around the palm rest, but the Black ones depending on the one you get may have very flakey paint. Just keeps your palms clean when your using your laptop and clean occasionally, and you'll be fine.
Also for the same price as the black one you can upgrade the white one too 1gb, and the same 80gb harddrive in the black one. This is based on the prices on mac.com, and does not take into account any promotions being run via macmall or the likes.

White looks the best, since most other laptops only come in black or silver

Black of course. Black is more apt to actively reflecting ambient light back to your eyes giving it more gloss and shine. Not to mention the black contrast on your monitor gives a bit of a bitter picture contrast.

Sometimes over time, white plastic products get yellowed then it looks like cr**. Black will stay nice longer.

What is your heart telling you?
How often will you be using it?
How often will you be travelling with it?
How much wear and tear will it be under?
These are questions you have to ask yourself. It's your computer I could tell you any color is fine, however, white shows wear and tear where black doesn't.
Think for yourself.

the macbook in black is better, but white is fine. Stick w/ mac they dont crash!
