You think you let go but it’s in the back of your head. There is a saying; the pass makes us who we are in the present. Could that be why we think of the past at times?

Hunt us or haunt us? Hunt? Karma. Haunt? Conscience.

I was asking the same question long ago..

The answer I think is that you always remember the good times in the past but not the whole past that's why you always think that the past is hunting u and its not the past, actually its just the past good times.

If it makes you feel better, try to remember the bad times that passed long ago and how you feel better without it.

About the saying, its true.. But when you remember and think the whole past not the good past only.

Its just something that will always be there...There are things and people in my life that I would like to forget but we can't our mind plays tricks on us.....That saying is right too...What ever happened in the past should make you a stronger person today...and maybe thats whats happening..Your conscience is letting you see it again so you won't do anything stupid

Do you propose "hang-out us?" specific, I do. examine the e book of Mormon sometime and the destruction of the human beings of usa in the process their time. the comparable style of destruction awaits us if we don't repent of our warmonging, killing, our immorality, whoremonging, gay and deviant society. The Lord wiped out Sodom and Gomorrhea and usa is greater depraved that that depraved city ever replaced into. The Lord is basically now preaching his very own sermons and it started with Katrina and 9/11 and each and each of the famine, floods, earthquakes no longer in elementary terms going on interior the international, yet in usa too. suitable in the previous the 2nd Coming, usa as all of us comprehend it won't exist. This united states will develop into no longer something yet bloodshed interior the final days. the government will end to exist. human beings will eat one yet another. There will no longer be any armies left to preserve each and each individual. ailment would be so rampant human beings will eat their very own toddlers. it extremely is all interior the Bible and e book of Mormon and Latter Day Prophets. it is not going to be reliable different than for those few righteous Saints and peoplel who repent of each and everything they have carried out suitable. turn to God. it extremely is all i can declare.

It only comes back to hunt you if you've done something you shouldn't have, otherwise, you rarely think of things from the past.

That would be "haunt" and that only occurs if there is something you perhaps feel guilty about and did not get closure on. Otherwise, the past just tends to be memories...no haunting needed.

Simply because we have escaped the fruit (punishment) of our deed. The spirit, the consciousness never allows us to live peacefully till we get that 'fruit'
