3 weeks ago I stopped taking my bc pill, ortho novum777...I would like to get pregnant but find my libido nearly nonexistent! This makes getting pregnant quite difficult! Does anyone have any similar experiences with this seemingly erratic hormonal response?

It will pass. YOur body is re-adjusting after being on the pill. Give it another month or two and you'll probably feel normal again.

By the way...even if you're not in the mood...having sex more frequently makes you want it more. Just like any other pleasure. Just make yourself the first few times and it will play out naturally soon.

Your response to going off the pill will depend on how long you have been on hormone therapy. The good news is it won't last. Your hormones will get back to normal. If you don't notice a change in the next few weeks you may have an underlying medical condition casuing your low libido. See your dr. then.

You loose major weight when you get off ... but exercise is needed to get the circulation back in your body and make you more sexually active.

Yes, it can take up to 1 year for your body to respond to normal and be fertile ... (BF is trying to have kids after being on BC 4 10 years) ... also, your smell changes, so you may need to play with your spouses sent ( change his scent w/ perfume stuff ).

Have fun.

You need to be off the pill for several months for things to return to "normal."

In the meantime, read some Laurel K Hamilton novels to put you in the mood.
