I know this isn't glass cleaner, and you'd probably have to re-clean the windows after using it; but Comet spray bathroom/shower cleaner is amazing when it comes to removing hardwater stains. (Its the one in the spray bottle that is supposed to be used for cleaning tubs and showers....). You can spray it on tough stains, let it sit for twenty minutes, and wipe the muck off easily with a paper towel.

use a squeegee ( sp?) with a sponge scrubber on one side, use shower cleaner like " scrub free" ( sold at Walmart) but DO scrub with the sponge side, then sqeegee off.
I use it on glass shower doors.
Also sometimes just rubbing alcohol wiped off, then glass cleaner.
