First off, you have to know where they are coming in at. Find their holes, check behind the oven and fridge. Fill the holes up.

I don't know of any "repellents" to keep them away. You can get live traps from places like Home Depot and Lowe's, that way you don't have to kill them or have to clean up messes. Just make sure you relocate them at least a mile from your house.

Get a small flute and do a pied piper thing.

Now if you really want to get rid of them, get a cat or even better, buy some bait.

A bit of peanut butter on a mouse trap works better then cheese.

buy some mouse traps. buy some cotton balls. put vanilla extract on the cotton balls. put in the mouse trap. something in the vanilla extract attracks them like crazy. I thought this was nuts until i witnessed it for myself. try it. what do you got to loose other than mice.
