I just suggested these same things to somene else with a similar question. However, if you are going to the Red Sox game on Friday, I really suggest you go to the game early and enjoy the sites of Landsdown Street and the surrounding areas. Make sure to go to Game On and The Cask. They are both bars at/across from Fenway and they are great. Especially on a Friday night the atmosphere is just amazing. It's jam packed with excitment, and Game On has some fabulous steak tips!!! If you're looking for a formal dinner in the area Eastern Standard is a fancier restaurant just down the road about 3 minutes from Fenway, and can be a nice meal as well.....Other than at Fenway. . . Walk around the Boston Commons, do some shopping at Downtown Crossing and Fanueil Hall. From Fanueil Hall you can check out the waterfront/aquarium, Quincy Market place. Oh, and if you're a history buff make sure you walk the freedom trail! Harvard Square is pretty interesting to see and has some good shops. You can go to the top of the John Hancock building for a good view of the city, or go to the Prudential where you can see everything, and then right around that area (copley) there are tons of great bars and a shopping area.On Boylston Street just across from Copley is Whiskeys, which is one of the best sports bars in America (was voted by a few magazines, not just opinion:)! )For food try to go to the Union Oyster House. It's the oldest restaurant in the country, and is actually a historical landmark! Great new england seafood! For good dessert hit up some bakeries of the north end. If your looking for museums try to Museum of Fine Arts on Huntington Ave and the Museum of Science, which has great shows, at the Science Park stop of the Green line Train. The Red Sox game will be a blast, I hope you have great seats, enjoy Fenway Park, and Boston for the beautiful city that it is. Oh, and make sure to eat a Fenway Frank- the best hot dogs in all of baseball!

Park at a train station (the T) and travel around Boston using that. Go to the North Station, there is a nice Bar there called the North Station Horse.

On the South Side, there is a restaurant called, well it does not have a name. The 'no name' is a Seafood restaurant on Pier 4. There is also Anthony's Pier 4 - somewhat more expensive. And you either have to drive, or take a Cab - the T does not go there. You could walk there from the South Station, it is about 1/3 mile south east.

Hay Market Square is nice, the North Side has lots of Italian Restaurants.

Since you are checking out a game I would recommend going down to Fenway early. There are some great local bars: Cask & Flagon, Boston Beer Works, & Game on. Then make sure to go onto Yawkey way which is a closed off street near Fenway where you need your game ticket to enter. There is food, drinks, shops & some cool things to look at.

For your other days, I suggest going to Fanuel Hall Marketplace. There you will find shops, restaraunts, clubs, & Quincy Marketplace which is full of kiosks & food vendors. There is a comedy club here called the Comedy Connection and you can usually get day of tickets. Sometimes there are famous celebrity comics here.

Top of the Hub is a great view of the city. Go here instead of paying the $ for the skywalk. The restaurant is expensive, but if you sit @ the bar you can order a drink & appetizers and still get the great view. Also feel free to walk around... you can see the whole city up there!

One more thing, there is a great dessert restaraunt called Finale. If you enjoy sweets go here!

Head over to the North End for great italian food. There's dozens of small restaurants, no reservations, just walk in. If you want more upscale Italian, La Galleria 33 is the new hip spot, 125 Salem St @ Prince St.

When you're up there, there's lots of places on the Historic Trail. Nearby is Paul Revere's House, the oldest house in existence in the country. It dates from 100 year before Paul ever lived there: 19 North Square. There's also the Old North Church @ 193 Salem St.

If you want to shop, there's Quincy Market right behind Faneuil Hall off the corner of State St. and Congress. More upscale is the Back Bay, South of the Charles River and West of Copley Square. Copley Square also has Trinity Church and the John Hancock Tower for more sightseeing.

Wow I'm a diehard Orioles fan I'm jealous!! Although I'm going to a game this weekend too. I love Fenway Park too. Make sure to go to the North End for a meal and especially to Mike's Pastry. Anything on the Waterfront also. We're supposed to have good weather this weekend.

Museum of Science, New England Aquarium, The "Duck Boat" tours, the Freedom trail, Fanueil Hall Marketplace! Eat in Brookline or Harvard Square if you can. Sorry, I can't remember the good restaurants by name!
