When I was in labor with both my kids, I didn't get sick at my stomach until they told me that I was dialated to 10. But that is all that happened....I never threw up. I have heard of women getting sick at their stomachs but I've never talked to one who has actually thrown up. Don't worry,,,,,you'll do fine!

I didn't throw up with my first while in labor, but while I was pushing with my second I almost did and my third I was just nauseas. I was scared I was going to vomit but that's the least you have to worry about just think about whats coming out the other end.

Even with my epidural during both my labors I felt extremely intense pain in my ... well it sounds weird but where you leg bends at your hip...anyway I threw up with both my children right before I was ready to push...it helps push the baby down! So I guess that's a positive. I know how common it is but it's standard with me I guess.

I not at all unquestionably vomitted (6 pregnancies) yet i replaced into somewhat nauseous on the commencing up. For the 1st one, my accepted practitioner mentioned very heat beverages or very chilly beverages to alleviate the nausea. I didnt decide directly to take any drugs. the only ingredient i ought to consume have been scrambled eggs, which somewhat shocked the accepted practitioner as he mentioned eggs are between the 1st issues that a nauseous lady wouldnt be waiting to abdomen! solid success!

well, i had my daughter (1st child) 8 months ago and i was throwing up durring most of the labor. i thought i had the flu when i first went into the hospital since it was going around. i was giving two shots of a muscle relaxer (one at midnight and the other at 5am) to help with the contractions (they were irregular), and to calm me down. i did feel the pain of labor, and did learn that it is normal for a woman to throw up, a lot of it depends on how your body reacts to pain and family history. my mother didn't throw up, but i did.

Um. I didn't puke when I had my daughter. Though I did when I went into pre-term labor, because they gave me magnesium to stop the contractions, and that stuff made me vomit till my insides hurt. It wasn't fun.

I think its one of the funniest things to be concerned about.
its generally the pressure and stress of the whole ordeal that causes women to throw up, but ive never known anyone who did, or heard of anyone they know who did.
My mom had three kids completely natural, she didnt throw up. :)
