Because I am a single woman and I live alone, I leave my living room and kitchen light on every night.

I leave a night light on near the bathroom. My room has to be dark in order for me to sleep. It is not total dark in the house because of the street lights and sometimes the moon.

Our house is totally dark except for a little bit of light that comes in from the street light across the street.
We live some what in a Country setting, but, theres an airport down the street, so we have street lights past our house!

Dark...cannot fall asleep if there are any light sources. That why I usually wake up at like 6 in the morning...not cause i want to...but cause light is coming through the window.

We leave our girl's bathroom light on b/c our 2 yr old just got potty trained and if its not left on she will just pee in her bed. Then we have a little nite light under the counter in the kitchen for when we have to get up and make our 3 month old a bottle of for when one of our girls get up in the night. But those are the other two.

Since my eyes are VERY sensitive to light, I need complete darkness to sleep. On weekends, I put blankets over my windows, or else I wake up as soon as the sun rises.

My house is totally dark, pitch black. Sometimes I like a little light, usually I want it pitch black, as it is.

a little light in bathroom so i can go to toilet without ruining my sleep and eyes. if i am alone i leave some little light open
