well what i mean is what kinda help you get depressed or sad cuz like EPNTX said depression is a result of a lack of seratonin in the brain

If you are taking psychology you should know that depression is a result of a lack of seratonin in the brain. The state of the world can make depression worse, not cause it.

There's multiple factors, as I'm sure you know (biopsychosocial model). There are some times it's depressing to see how some people refuse to grant really BASIC rights to other gay people; that can get to me. There are other times where I somewhat-knowingly wallow in whatever it is that set me off to begin with (usually something small; random nostolgia about people I don't see anymore etc). And, once diagnosed, there's the whole pity-party "why me?" bit.

Most of all, the prospects of having to endure world war 3, which will probably involve nuclear weapons.

One thing that got me really depressed and I am totally serious here... is when George Bush got re-elected.
I was very depressed and get depressed if I think about it too much. I could not fathom how the hell he could get elected, and really was blown away that he got re-elected.

its just me i have depresion issue so much anger from the past got to the point anything can get me mad ............... like how father never there for their kids,kids go to the street to find love from friends,guns and drugs to be cool,kids touch by their moms boyfriend@moms do ****.thats what gets me upset
