There's no one to blame but your ex. Your father wanted to protect you from exactly this. You shouldn't have cheated.. you should have walked away. Be glad it wasn't you he got pregnant.

In situations like this.. it is best not to blame at all, really. You have to accept what has happened with a mature mind. Remember the good memories and try to not walk away bitter. Renew your relationship with your father - he sounds like a good man who will do anything for his child.

It will hurt for a while. But you can be strong, and you will be ok.

Both are to blame. If your relationship was pure to begin with you wouldn't have had that problem. Unless you are under 18 years old you don't need your dad's approval for your relationships. Yes it is important but it is not necessary. Next time consider an open and honest relationship before you get 2 much into it. Cheating should never be an option regardless of what the other person has done.

Number one--You said your father told you he had other women. The way I see it, your father didn't approve of your boyfriend because of what he was doing to you. And your father loves you and wants to protect you. You are his daughter--a very precious gift to him. Number two--You said you cheated on him too. Two wrongs don't make a right. Number 3--the boyfriend didn't care about you at all or he wouldn't have been messing around on you in the first place. If your boyfriend truly cared about you, he would have WANTED TO have a talk with your father and try to resolve their differences. You have NO REASON to blame your father for trying to protect you and for loving you. You should not blame yourself either because this guy was not worth your time and darn sure wasn't worth it at all. You can do alot better than having someone you can't trust that runs around on you and gets someone else pregnant. Face it honey, this guy did not care for you at all and you deserve better. Hang in there. The right one will come along.

well it's not your fault or your dads... he would have cheated no matter what. If he was upset not being able to see you, and if he really cared for you, then he would have broken things off before going with another girl.... but you shouldn't of cheated... two wrongs DON'T make a right.

You ought to blame you ex. He's the one that got someone else pregnant. You should thank your lucky starts its not you that's pregnant. Your Dad was the smart one.

Don't beat yourself up over this. Some men are just flat out stupid and like to cheat. But I think you should blame your father bc it is his fault bc you never got to see him. But don't beat yourself up over this. Some men jsut can't make up their minds and like to do stupid stuff.
