You said solve for m, so the answer is simple:

K = 1/2 m v^2
2K = m v^2 (Times 2 on both sides)
m = 2k / v^2 (Divide by v^2 on both sides)

to solve an equation for one of the variables, do the same thing to both sides of the equation. To solve for m, first multiply both sides by 2:

2*K = 2*1/2m(v squared)
2K = m(v squared)

Then divide both sides by v squared

2K/(v squared) = m

Do the same thing to solve for v, except you will have to take a square root as then last step

sqrt (2K/m) = v

sorry i tryed getting this, but i lost patience and i don't really have a peice of paper handy. i tried doing it on here, but w/o the proper signes n stuff, it got confusing. EVEN IF THIS IS YOUR HW, U HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK 4 THE ANSWER ANYWAY b/c this whole thingy is about answering questions. had to through in my 2 cents. later.

k = 1/2 (mv^2)
or 2k = mv^2
or mv^2=2k
or m = 2k/ (v^2)

and this is the answer
cheers

K = (1/2)mv^2
2K = mv^2
m = (2K)/(v^2)

K = (1/2)mv^2
2K = mv^2
(2K)/m = v^2
v = sqrt((2k)/m)
v = (sqrt(2km))/m
