Hi... You need not be worried to travel on September 11.. as its a past thing... and with all the latest security checks you need not be worried at all.
But you will have to reach the airport early as there will always be extra security measures on these unfortunate days..
Also be prepared for extra questions from the immigration departments just in case if you are traveling abroad... Have a nice flight

Yes you should!! I will never ever fly on September 11!!! It is a risk and one im not going to take.

It's probably quite safe as it's a day that everyone's on a heightened alert status. Personally, I don't think I could travel on 9/11; I have no valid reason other than my own thoughts about such a tragic day in recent history.

It's a 50/50
The terrorist might think that we know they will not strike twice at the same day.
Personally I will stay from crowd on that day.

I wouldn't be, and I live in NYC. It's the cheapest day, though, but if you're afraid of low prices, I'd stay away.
