I'm just curious to know how people, especially women, feel about this. I know the first reaction will be like 'dont be silly' but stop, think and then answer. Imagine if men wearing dresses was as normal as a woman wearing pants.

I think if there had been a strong preference by the majority of men at some time in history to START wearing dresses, we would be seeing that today

If the majority of people adopta treand, it stops being weird and becomes acceptable

I just dont think there was any signifigant interest on the part of males at anytime in the past (maybe someday they will want to, who knows)

Some Scottish wear kilts and some Arabic men wear Caftans but I think they wear pants under them. I don't know. I think a man would look pretty silly in a dress or skirt because of his physique but if they want to wear it then so what......

I do like the look of some men in Kilts....... ;)

Simple, In our society who seems to have the most power? Men. So for men to dress like women would be seen as weakness, where as a women wear men’s cloths is seen as powerful. It is all rooted in sexism, it is really sad.

hey I am glad girls wear pants nothing better on a girl than jeans and somethings might seem like a double standard, but us guys I think are okay with that... and no I can't imagine wearing a skirt and boots, that's gross.

i do not characterize "society" yet i imagine you would possibly want to positioned on what ever you want to positioned on. clothing are an affectation, a standing image, and a accessible/rank component. Nudity might want to be the norm. Masculinity/femininity might want to be determined between 2 (or extra?)human beings, no longer with the aid of clothing.
