Best thing I ever did and far less painful than I expected. It cost me £4500 and I took out a personal loan with my bank although I don't live in Ireland - is this relevant then?. The pain you feel after the operation is more pressure than anything...It kind of feels like there is something really heavy sitting on your chest (and I don't mean your new boobs!). There was hardly any scarring and now (it's been 6 months) there is nothing at all. I had the operation where the surgeon inserts just under the bust. They make a tiny insertion and the implants are fitted in less than an hour. I believe I was under general anasthetic for just 45 minutes. I stayed one night in hospital but that was just included in the price. It took 2 weeks for the pressure feeling to really go away and in that time I couldn't do anything strenuous. You have to wear a massive maternity bra for 2 weeks after the op and this has to worn ALL the time (even in the bath!). The stitches dissolved away on their own so there was no need for a return appointment and it was the best £4500 I have ever spent. If you really want one than I say go for it. I can't believ some people still talk about it as if it's such a crazy thing to do. Yes there are risks but then there are risks with everything. If you go to a respectable surgeon then you should have nothing to worry about. Be prepared to pay anything between £3500 - 5000 at least. Anything that claims to do it cheaper - stay well away.

One friend has had hers increased, hurt a lot, she now has no nipple sensation at all. they look great, but she says that if she had known it would affect her sex life so much ( not having any feeling in nipples) she wouldnt have bothered.
She had a BIG increase, maybe if you just have a normal increase, I wouldnt have thought it would affect the nips. Im not sure.
She saiys the pain was absolutely awful, had a huge tube hanging out of both sides of her **** draining off fluids after, bandaged up, very sore.
Ive also had two friends who have had reductions, they said the same, hurts like hell, tubes, pain etc.
I think if its what u want, go for it, just be prepared for a lot of pain.

Yes I had a boob job and it was the best thing i ever did....mind you I had a brilliant surgeon so please do your homework....it was quite painful post surgery but that didnt last too long and mine look so natural nobody knows (other than my family) that I've had anything done.
I had it done in 2000 and have never had any problems
You can get payment plans for this surgery....
good luck!!!!

I havent had one, I was very well blessed in that department but my mum has had it done. Her first one was in 1979 and it was very very painfull for her. Because she really didnt have any boobs, her skin found it hard to stretch over the implants. She had to have it re-done in about 1995 and that op went better. Personally I wouldnt get it done. You can get some lovely tops and bra if you have a smaller bust. Unlike me who has a 52dd bust and bras cost me a fortune and they look horrible!! Natural boobs are better I think !! Good luck though babes. xx

No, but if you really truly desire to change your body make absolutly sure to get a REAL plastic surgen. I've watched many newsy shows where people got botched jobs and some of them had infections. One woman acturaly died b/c the guy was a conartist and not a real surgen.

no and I don't intend to... even tho I did consider it.. in my younger days! but I think the real issue is that you haven't found that special person who loves u the way you are.. and that if you were confident then you would'nt dream of summin like this.. but its up 2 u at the end of the day... your body will have hurt cos you're gonna have a knife cut thru your boobies..

The cost of breast implant surgery is very less in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance in USA or by the stinking NHS in UK
They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star .
My cousin got her cosmetic surgery for breast implants and rhinoplasty surgery and she is more than very happy with the results.SHe is all praise for this forerunners healthcare companyfor the services they provided her.She paid just 30% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her.Excellent stay, food, best surgeons-she just couldnt stop talking.hope this helps.

A close friend of mine had one a few years back - she was a completely different person afterwards - much happier, more self confidence.
