Or, are there any good websites where I can find answers to my question?

To park I always suggest you park under the Boston Common. During the week it's a little pricey and can fill up because of local business and schools. Usually however on the weekends you can find amples spaces there and it's only about $10.00 flat rate for the day! It's in a great central location so if you park there you can walk just about anywhere, or even take the T if you wanted to for only $1.50. Walk around the Boston Commons, do some shopping at Downtown Crossing and Fanueil Hall. From Fanueil Hall you can check out the waterfront/aquarium, Quincy Market place, local and some great tastes of boston. . . Try to fit in a tour of Fenway Park! They run hourly, and cost about $7.00. For food try to go to the Union Oyster House. It's the oldest restaurant in the country, and is actually a historical landmark! Great new england seafood! For good dessert hit up some bakeries of the north end. If you like art try the Musuem of Fine Arts on Huntington Ave. . . .There's a lot to do here. As far as websites go, I suggest digital city, it's where I find out about a lot of local things going on. (Oh, and if you're a history buff make sure you walk the freedom trail!)

Go to:

and request a brochure. I received a 2006/2007 Getaway Guide from them in the mail today. The one thing I highly recommend you do is take one of those horse and caleche (sp?) tours around Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. It's a great way to see the area there and save your feet at the same time from tons of walking.

if you don't have that much time on your hands, a duck tour is a good thing to do. even though its really corny you see most of the important things.
