As many as he feels he needs to. If 3 will make him happy, then 3. If it's gotta be 100, then 100. But it shouldn't be a number he's trying to hit - I think if a man took advantage of whatever opportunities presented themselves, lived without regret, he would be happy.

The # of lovers is not what's important. It's the quality of the love that counts. So to answer your question: 1 man could sleep with 1000 women and never be happy; while another man could sleep with only 1 woman, his true love, and be happier then anyone could ever believe possible.

As many as it takes to find the one that makes him content. Might be 1, might be 101.

If he's going to die happy, then preferably dropping off to sleep after an incredibly intense menage a trois and just never waking up would be pretty cool.

42 sounds good, it is 'the answer to life, the universe and everything...' after all!

And if you want to be more choosy apparently a mans ideal woman is half his age plus 7. Every bloke I've told this to says it's about right e.g 13 yr old lads fancy 13 yr old girls, 20-17, 30-22, 40-27 etc...

So if you want to start banging 42 yr old women you need to be 70, in which case you're about ready to pop your clogs anyway!

What has sex and the number of partners got to do with happiness? Why should a man dying of cancer be consoled because he put it about a bit?

It won't make him happy, only miserable for the life he is leaving behind. People should learn to accept death with grace and poise. But if can not reach that point of enlightment...then at least 21 in seven days...breakfast lunch and dinner!!!
