Unless you actually went into the control panels and clicked add/remove programs, and removed word perfect that way, you probably didn't remove it. if you didn't click start->search->word then see what comes up, if see an icon called something like wordpft.exe try opening it, if it works right click on that icon and click make shortcut, and drag it to the desktop or wherever. Anyway if you actually did remove wordperfect you need to reinstall it, which you'll probably need the disks for, so I'll do you somewhat of a favor and recommend a totally free, almost better than Microsoft office package, with a excel,word,PowerPoint, and even a math like program. If you haven't empty the recycle bin, chances are it might still be there. Open the recycle bin to see if it is there. If not, then you need to reinstall the app.

I suggest a system restore to a prior date, a date when you knew it was there.
