Is nineth grade too young to be kissing? I mean some of my friends do it (im not trying to fit in!) and I am just wondering if that is too early? I would like advice from someone older. I had a boyfriend last year and I told him I didn't want to kiss. He wasn't mad. We took a break over the summer because it was too hard when we were far away. And he just brought up getting back together. I am scared he is going to want to kiss again and I don't know what to do! Put yourself in my shoes and I would love answers from experienced people. (and no, i have never kissed a boy) sry if that is dumb!! I just wanted it to be special. =)

It isn't necessarily too young, but you're right to wait because you want it to be special. Only kiss when you're sure you want to, NEVER because you feel pressured!

no its not too young i ahd ma frist real kiss in the 7th gr. at age 12 and i wasn't ready 4 it. but yeah im in 9th goin to 19th and kids r doin worse things and a lil kiss is nothing so dont be afraid.

Yes it's alright it you are fine with it. Just don't be dumb enough to have sex. I know two people who did it in our senior year once. She took birth control her wore a condom. They now have one kid and another on the way.
I've never been kissed ether and I'm 20!!!!

hunny dont ever ever kiss a guy because u feel pressured u should do you when you feel like your ready because you always remeber your first kiss dont worry about it i still havent had my first kiss yet and im going to the 9th grade in september

no, its not. i got my first kiss when i was 14 and in 8th grade. then by sophmore year i made out a few times.

No. People in my grade (I am also in 9th grade), have had sex and make out in the hallway all the time.

Eh, it was fine for me. But if you don't feel comfortable doing it, just tell him. If he's cool, then he'll understand and respect your wishes.
