As I've aged, I've learned that I do all three about equally. When someone needs to be in the lead and no one is stepping up to it, I automatically do so. If someone needs to lead and somebody is willing, I'll follow and do my share. If nobody needs to be leading but someone thinks they ought to be, I get the heck out of the way.

Then again, unless it's something I really care about, the older I get the more willing I am to just get out of the way...

Okay, okay. You win. I'll just go sit in my rocking chair and let everybody else take care of things.

It is situational.

When I know how the world should be, no one steps up to the plate, of course I lead. But when others dominate my world (bosses & political leaders& the elders), and force it to be their way I follow along muttering under my breath, until I can do something about it.

Getting out of the way, that takes real cash or being ok with being homeless.

i am naturally a leader . i like to help people and tell them what to do but that most of the times
sometimes u must follow when it's in the best for you and as long as it doesn't interfere with what u believe in
there are many people who can lead us without feeling loosers people who knows the best for us and know more than we do
and offcourse getting away from the way is not the recomended behavior .u should face your problems and try to solve it . but defenitely i lead it gives good feeling to be in charge. don't you think?

Follow or get out of the way mostly. Too much weight on your shoulders if you have to lead.

I am definitely a leader. I am much to loud and blunt to follow or get out of the way!

At work, I lead.
At home, I lead or get out of the way.
The eclectic, epicurean life: It's a tough job, but someone has to do it!

I always end up being the leader, but sometimes I prefer being the follower, less responsibility.

Definitely leading, the view is better up here.

I follow until someone looks back at me with a look of dispair. Then I walk up beside them and walk hand in hand.
