Did Jim Morrison really get an erection on the Ed Sullivan show, or was the Doors movie just making that up?

what the movie portrays is partially true/partially false. as is a lot of the movie. jim didnt have an erection while on the ed sullivan show, the problem was that because he was wearing his leather pants, you could see his penis. it was visibly outlined, and noticable. theres a lot in the movie that isnt true, the best way to find these things out is to read the books, not watch the movie (esp in this case). the movie was good, but it didnt protray things the way they happened in many cases, such as the story of the ed sullivan show.
