She's always bleated she wasn't after his money...now she won't accept a generous £30mill offer of settlement...I'd say she's just proving every bad thing the sleaze-papers have ever written about her. Impediment or not...she doesn't come across as a 'decent person' in this charade so far...and she ought to realize NO ONE is ever going to forget this whole despicable episode in her far-too-media-exploitative life! She's almost boasted of having been totally ignorant about his music, so unlike other divorcees who recently received big payouts after long marriages, she can't claim to have made any contribution to his fortune. I hope she gets as little as possible, but in an age where Rebecca Loos can make a career out of having had an affair with a footballer, surely the ex-wife of a Beatle can look forward to a long and lucrative career as a 'celebrity'.

Sir Paul McCartney and Heather 'Pegleg' Mills are going to be splitting up. Rather than simply casting off the dead wood (BIFF!), the split is said to be due to Mills' inability to stand... the media (KRAKK!). If Heather Mills is expecting a big pay out from the short marriage, however, she may be disappointed, as some leading lawyers have claimed that she doesn't have a leg to stand on (SLAM!). This is due to the 'genius clause' (I kid you not) saving some of Sir Paul's money. Mills is not altogether happy at the split, saying that "it's like losing a limb", and she should know (OWWW!). Paul however, is out getting legless as we speak (KERBLAMMO!). As Heather Mills herself might say, I'm going to go out on a limb here (SOCKO!) and say that the media attention is not going to be dispersing anytime soon!

She has got a leg to stand on, and then a whole wardrobe full of jewel encrusted spares that she needs to maintain. Can you imagine her walking around on a spare leg with a few rubies missing? She may as well chop off the other one and try to make a living as an oompa loompa.
If you ask me this is where the Beatles success was always headed - to pay for extravagant third legs for a call girl.

She's entitled to half of everything Macca has, thats the rules of divorce. If it was a normal marriage with a woman declaring half of everything, nobody would bat a eyelid. Its only because she is in the public eye, people care and label her as money grabbing and I doubt she cares what people or the papers think of her anyway. After all she has been married to macca for a number of years, it doesnt matter if there is a huge amount of money involved - the law is the law and she is entilted.

She'd have to claim she deserves his fortune because she helped him when he acumalated it. Unfortunately for her, he earned it decades before they met, so she has no case whatsoever. It just proves she's a gold digger, £30 million would be many times more than enough to set someone up for life, especially when she has no reasonable claim to his millions, bar having his child.

yeah, she wasn't even with him while he was working hard earning all his dosh.
originally her people were trying to say she would be happy with £10 million, so why is she turning down £30 mill? she should be grateful to get a couple of hundred quid. she obviously only ever married him for the money, but what do you expect from a cheap ex hooker.
