If Virgin is as NTL grow to be, and you get it by using cable, your bandwidth in line with 2nd will replace, finding on the quantity of people on the comparable cable (e.g. on your street) on the comparable time. Even on DSL, you will not at all hit the quantity you need to. for example, 16Mb/s broadband might hit my living house at approximately 13Mb/s by way of fact my house is a quick distance from the replace. The added away, the slower it gets. next component, you will in basic terms ever get some million/2 in case you're on WiFi, only submit to that for the period of techniques. next component, the quantity of desktops on a LAN will impression the cost. for example, if 2 desktops are on the comparable community you may get a million/2, 3, a third and so on. next component, yet another component to a million/2 the cost is Upstream vs Downstream. those often won't be ready to artwork on the comparable time, and so will go with beyond standard time. there are various greater factors, yet I relatively have defined a number of them. NB a MB isn't a Mb. Your velocity is measured in megabits, (Mb) which there are 8 bits in a byte (8b=1B) so which you mey be measuring the Bytes whilst they are calculating in bits.

They are good, but won't give you a static IP address if that's what you need. They seem reliable with good speed, I have used Virgin for 3 years with no problems.

No problems as far as I can see. I started on their cheapest package and now am on the middle one. I get downloads at 240kbs, so I'm happy!
