I was named after Elvis' wife. My mom was going to name me Marisol and my mom's cousin said I would be too pretty to be named that and said I should have a name that not so many people would have so Priscilla it is. By the way, I grew up with a lot of Priscilla's in school.

I was named after the first woman that my mom saw in the hospital after she had me.
My grandma's name was out, because my aunt used it for her daughter, otherwise my name would have been Paula.
My mom's friend Anna was a nurse where I was born, so Anna it is.

My first name was after my Great Grandmother. My middle name was after my Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great Great Grandmother.
My mom said I didn't look like a rose so she put that as my middle name. She had to keep it in the family I guess. My daughters middle name is now the same as mine.
I felt like I needed to do the same as my mother did.
Hopefully one of my girls will give one of their kids one of the family names.
I wish my first name had been Rose, I don't like my first name, sounds like an old persons name. LOL
