Stop giving him compliments. Don't tell him when you think he looks good. Put the shoe on the other foot, so to speak. See how he likes it, or doesn't.

If there is one thing I've learned over the years it is that men, and women are a very different species. Women are naturally giving, and nurturing. Women also need compliments, food, and occasional pair of shoes. Men on the other hand have no clue as to the importance of what these few things will do for a woman. I suggest you keep complimenting your husband if he deserves it. His not doing the same to you doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't love you , it could just mean his mind is not attuned to what women really need or expect. I do hope you do take care to look, and smell nice around him because if you are lacking this may be your answer. Check yourself from time to time.

I looked the other questions you have asked here on Y-Answers. It is time for you to see a marriage counselor and work through the baggage that has accumulated in your marriage.

Mine does the same thing. They just aren't very good at communicating that fact. I've just had to learn to live with it. Their idea of respect isn't the same as ours.

Why don't you just flat out ask him? He might not realize that you need that and he is not doing that. He might be thinking it in his head but let him know that you need to know those things once in a while.

After being married awhile, (don't know how long you have been married) men just take it for granted that you know how they feel about you and so that don't take the time to tell you any longer. They think since they married you that you "know" how they feel. Have you told him how you feel? If not, best to tell him that it's important to you that you know how he feels about you.

Don't tell him he looks good anymore. Give him a taste of his own medicine. If he doesn't compliment you, you don't compliment him...at all.
