Most of it comes from blading, though an occasional "real" cut is opened, especially on someone who has scar tissue. Look at Sandman when he crushes the beer can on his forehead! I would say that most of the old ECW matches involved some real bleeding, especially the barbed wire and weapons matches. Sometimes the guys blade too deep though, like Flair or HBK have done recently.

Actually, some of it is real blood, and not from blading. Some people blade though, like HBK and Benoit. Sometimes it's fake, but that is kinda hard sometimes (ie: cage matches, when they rub their fac on the cage sides)

they use something called korensic gore it's fake blood and they use a sheet to hide the gore thingy that's why when someone punches the wrestlers really hard they start to "bleed".
