I have Realtek 97 but recently my computer sends me the message that no audio device is detected and no sound will pllay at all from my PC. Please help!

You could have a driver problem. Since you did not mention your computer maker or model, I can't provide you with the links. Go to your makers website and download the latest drivers. Same goes for a kit built system except you need the drivers for your motherboard.
