If you are in the US, this is really a nonsensical question...Puerto Rico is a territory of the USA...they are home.

They are in their country. Puerto Rico is part of the US. Try asking your question in a less ignorant way.
How about this as a possible re-wording:
Why don't Puerto Ricans stay in Puerto Rico if they love it so much?
To this I would answer:
Because Puerto Rico is a small island that has little economic oppurtunity for many of it's people. Perhaps if Puerto Rico were allowed to either rule itself or become a state it would be able to pull itself up economically but since the US doesn't want either to happen we will continue to see many Puerto Ricans coming to the contiguous states to support their families.

Ah, see there's the point. It is not that Puerto Ricans love Puerto Rico. It is that they love *being* Puerto Rican, and they are proud of it. Of course they don't want to move back. Last time I checked, they chose not to be a state, so if they have anything to ***** about, it's that their own countrymen prefer having "second-class citizen" status. If they want independence, that's fine too, as far as I am concerned, but they had better not complain afterwards.

Puerto Ricans have the right to be proud of their country, the United States, which they are apart of. However, they don't have to federal income tax in Puerto Rico. Maybe thats why they love it so much.

Well its like this no matter where you came from and where you are now. A part of you will always miss that place you are from. Like people who come from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Germany, and even Tennessee or Texas, they all miss it no matter how bad it is, there is always something they will miss.

Because the only ones who would be left if we moved back out Native Americans, and even they came from Asia. I love Norway, but America is where I was born. We can all love the place our ancestors came from and still be proud americans.
