How is your rating figured? For losses and wins.?

When I lose a game of canasta, I lose more points than I gain when I win. What is going on?

points are based on team ratings..if your team plays against a higher rated team and you win you get more points. less if team is lower rated...same thing if you lose.

The person above is correct. If you play a team with a higher rating than yours and win, your rating will go up more than if you played a team with a lower rating and won. You get more points for beating higher rating and you lose less points for losing to people with higher ratings. (and vice versa)
