Just by viewing the titles, which of the two books would you be more apt to pull off of the shelf to read the inside/back cover to find out more. Also, about what would you expect the book to be and in what section of the bookstore/library do you think you would find the book?

If you will, please, also give your gender and age.

1. The Chameleon Within Us All

2. Under The Floor Boards

I'd probably go for The Chameleon Within Us All. I would expect the book to be a nonfictional book relating to people and their reactions in social situations, specifically those that help them blend in or hide. It would likely be in the psychology section of nonfiction.

The Chameleon Within Us All, because it sounds like the kind of book that really makes you think deeply. Under The Floor Boards sounds a little cliched, almost, like a really cheap horror flick.

And what are you guys talking about? Chameleon sounds like a really deep novel, something that has a little of everything. Don't see why it would be a "self-help" book. You guys need help...

I'm a 13 yr old female and a (cynical) lover of books and music.

"The Chameleon Within Us All" sounds like a self help book or a psychology book.

"Under The Floor Boards" sounds like a scary book or something like The Diary of Anne Frank.

which one would i pick up first if side by side? Depends on the cover art. If it looked intriguing I'd pick both up and read the back/inside flap to get more of the story. Cover art is super important i think - just as important as a catchy title.

Hope this helps :)

"The Chameleon Within Us All", sounds like a self-help book and I might glance at it, but I probably wouldn't purchase it or check it out of the library.

"Under The Floor Boards", sounds like it would be in the juvenille section of the store or library. Again, I wouldn't buy it or check it out simply because I'm an adult, but the title is good for that age group.

Under the Floor Boards--it sounds like a mystery, while the Chameleon sounds like some sort of self-help book.

Under the Floor Boards... sounds more mysterious and I love reading when i dont know whats coming up. I would think the book would be about something hiding or someone hiding something from people. i would find it in the mystery section or suspense. I love reading.. I am a 20 year old female

I would pick-up "Under the Floor Boards." sounds mysterious and intriguing, less self-help sounding than "The Chameleon Within Us". Female - 45

The Chameleon book sounds like a description of the alcholic who conforms to whatever his surroundings dictate in order to fill his selfish needs. I suppose we all to that to some degree.

Under the floor boards sounds like either an analysis of a mass-murderer or an automotive design manual. However, this one intrigues me the most. The Chameleon one sounds like a bunch of psycho-babble that would bore me after reading the Table of Contents.

I am male/47
