"(k1,k2tog) 6 times, k1. 13sts. P1row. Then the next instruction is... P accross all sts. 27sts.** and what does it mean when it states wrong side and right side? or turn? " Before this first instruction, you must have turned half way along the needle as if to shape a garment or divide for a v neck and started going back the other way. That's because 13 stitches is approx. half of the 27 stitches mentioned later so the other side must have already been reduced in same way.. k1,k2 together x 6 will reduce 18 stitches down to 12 stiches, + the k1 = 13 stitches total. That's the knit row or the right side. P1 row means pearl back across that row of 13 stitches by putting the needle in the front of the previous stitch instead of in the right hand side as for k or knit. That's the wrong side. The next instruction being P or pearl across all stitches means that where you previously divided your work in two (presumably you're working on a double ended needle) you will now pearl right the way across both sides. It's a wee bit complicated for a beginner.
