Be Prepared. But this is like the prisoner's dilemma; he's told he will hang one day next week, but not which day. So the prisoner comes up with reasons they won't hang him on a particular day, and when he goes to the gallows the constable says that ANY day would have been unexpected because of what he told him.

You expect an event to occur, but you don't know just what will occur. This is the principle behind health insurance.
