because i would like it to work like a turbo timer in a car (cools the turbo in a car down after the engine has been turned off)i play a lot of games and the fan go's crazy so it would be helpfull if i could control the speed so that its always going at a good steddy speed that will keep it cool thanks !!!

SpeedFan speedfan is a utility that controlls fan speeds, reports temperatures, and Hard drives via S.M.A.R.T. I don't recomend it for laptops because they get hot easily. So I'm not going to tell you where to get it or how to use it. Sorry.

no not that I am aware of. You could try cleaning the fan maybe dust has collected on the blades and that could make it niosier but the fan does need to run to cool the processor as you play the games otherwise it would overheat.
