I played a fantasy stock market game online. & found that you can make tons of cash if u buy low & sell short.

game and real-time is different. emotional play important part of the trading with real money. so do not compare game with real thing. do home work before you do anything stupid. but if you learn it. you feel your chance increase

I accumulate in good amount in 401k at the young age.I could share with you. when consider invest in stock market. you should consider basic 3 things:

fundamental analysis==(economic data,finincial health, management, business model, competetion)>>what to buy

technical analysis==(chart+indicator)>> when to buy

Sentiment/schycho analysis==>>mood of investor, Contrarian point of view.
Market cycle===>> check out book Trader Almanac by jeff hirsch will give you inside stuff
When you combine 3 thing, It is one of the powerful knowledge goinh with you for the rest of your live

over half my trading is shorting stocks
it has done well
I short stocks with super high PE ratios or negative earnings

like KKD
(its just doughnuts, people!)

or XMSR or TIVO

you should trade on paper before using real money
decide what you would like to buy or short
write down the date and price and how many shares
and then see if you would have won or lost money
include comissions too ($10 per trade)
