ok, i always liked the first one, but once the new one came out i don't really like the first one anymore. the second one explained more about Willy Wonkas life and Charlies too..! this movie explained a lot and was funny and much much more entertaining...lol...though the first one will always be a classic, the second one was a NEVER FORGET...lol. and johnny depp and tim burton always make a great team and some incredible movies together....who agrees with me on this topic???

I enjoyed the original one "willy wonka and the chocolate factory" because at the time it came out, i liked Gene Wilder

I'm a huge Johnny Depp fan, but I grew up watching the original.
(LOL! My son--who's 8---just asked me to type that he likes the 'old people's version' better, too!!!HAHAHA!!!)

The original one the umpalumpas are so much better and so is the ending in comparsion to the depp version

Didn't like Depp in movie, though I usually appreciate his work.
