Which dock? Avonmouth or central bristol? Its probably avonmouth, why dont you try and find out all the names of the companies in the avonmouth docks area for a start, maybe one will seem familiar if he told you the name?
Avonmouth dock is pretty big, a lot of warehouses, ships, there are thouand of people working there, good luck!!!
The local paper in bristol (the Evening Post) has a lost and found section for people - you could maybe put in an advert?
