wipe it off with a paper towel, then use another paper towel with some denatured alchol on it and wipe arround the area so the keys don't stick.
then pick up the keyboard and smack your self with it very hard for being a dumb azz

've never done this or knon anyone who has, but here's what I found on the net and all sorts of people say it works (I'd probably just buy another keyboard):
1. disconnected my USB keyboard from my computer
2. dumped out the spilled beverage
3. placed keyboard in dishwasher (normal cycle)
4. added soap to the reservoir (I used Electrasol)
5. closed the dishwasher and turned it on
6. I was advised to AVOID USING the heated dry cycle - 20 minutes too late
7. removed keyboard from dishwasher once the cycle was complete
8. popped ALL the keys off to allow the keyboard to completely dry (either draw, write down where the keys go, or take a picture so you can put ‘em all back in the right place)
9. leaned my keyboard vertically against a wall and allowed it to dry for 5 days
replaced all the keys, plugged the keyboard back in and tested every key to make sure it worked

Dont eat or drink over your pc.... anyhow ice cream and different candy issues might nicely be difficult to scrub by way of fact it gets sticky and the indoors factors stick at the same time. in case your roommates dad isn't able to scrub it you could attempt to thoroughly submerge it in luke heat water, to interrupt up the sugars internally then u ought to save it in an air tight field with alot of rice in it for some week or so and need it relatively works

You will have to unscrew your keyboard from the underside and lift the cover off, carefully. get some qtips and alcohol and get to it. You can remove the keys themselves by lifting them off, but only if you must, to get to stuff that got under there. This should be a pretty easy fix

Keyboards are pretty cheap these days. Just go out and get a new one and then keep foods and liquids away from your computer.

★★ KEYBOARD COVERS ★★
◙ Are you tired of dust and spilled liquids getting in your keyboards? Did you know you can get vacuum formed plastic keyboard covers that allow you to type with them over the keyboard?

clean it fast before it gets sticky and yucky. licking it ewww...too dusty. lol. try an old toothbrush or small cloth. maybe a q-tip. be careful and don't get it real wet. just barely get the cloth or q-tip wet and wipe. good luck.

Try Q-Tips with a cleaning product on them. Do your keys come off?
