Um hate to break it to you but we're not all dead and many small tribes do not recieve anything from the government. My own tribe has had a petition with the US government to obtain federal recognition since 1967 the reason we are not federaly recognized our ancestors escaped the round of of the Cherokee just prior to the trail of tears so we never signed any of the official rolls.
And just because we didn't divide up the land with deeds and borders it was never ours what utter nonsense. If it wasn't ours then why all the treaties and why did your people buy land from us if it wasn't ours. That is just another example of the double standard imposed on us by the white man.
Maybe we Native Americans should stop dealing with the US government and the Bureau of Indian Affairs and take our complaints to the UN maybe then we could get a homeland too. Of course knowing our luck we would end up with a bunch of Skinheads strapping bombs to themselves and blowing themselves up the way the Jihadist do in Israel. You might laugh but look at how white racists behaved in the 60's during the cival rights movement burning down/blowing up black churches. Sad to say but there are a lot of small minded fools out there that given half the chance will act on the hate they feel for others whatever the reason.
With this said most of us realize we will never get the land back and most of us have adopted the American culture to one extent or another you needn't worry about Indians taking the land back yes some Native Nations have bought back land and we now have laws to protect sacred sights such as burials but we don't harbor any dillusions about regaining the entire continent back, we know there is no way of going back to the days before Columbus made his fateful voyage.

The Native American had no ownership of the land they occupied,no legal ownership so you cant get back what wasn't yours to start with. The treaties were set up and agreed to by the leaders of the tribes. Were the treaties up held no not always ,did it benefit the white man more yes ,but any victor creates his own rules and regulations in any war.Can the NAs take back the land no it will never happen, its a pipe dream in the minds of a few discontents
Its simply isn't feasible to think that.If anyone in America deserves reparations its the decedents of the slaves that were kidnapped from Africa and brought to this country and sold as slaves. Will that happen no I don't think so ,should it yes in some way it should. The Native American was not enslaved,he was placed on reservations but has not been required to live there for many many years. There are correlations between the Jews,African Americans and Native Americans but not as much as you would like.

First to the moron who thinks we're all dead should come visit my people some time. Second when your a Jew and all you can do,under penalty of death, are certain occupations such a lend money and everyone around you is encouraged to beat and even kill you periodically lending money so you enemies will concentrate on killing each other is probably a good idea. Oh, the USA would not exist except for a Jew who died broke because he financed the birth of the USA and was never paid back.
As to the question the Jews were not given back their land. they brought back a small amount of historical Israel and were given an even smaller portion from a conscience stricken world which stood by or assisted the Nazi genocide of their relatives. Frankly after years of watching you idiots I have come to understand what my grandfathers three rules with dealing with non-Dene
1 They are all crazy
2 They have no honour
3 We are stuck with them

Israel is already on a reservation sized portion of the land it once used to encompass, which before the Roman occupation was all of what the Romans called Palestine, and then some.
In 1923, the British divided the "Palestine" portion of the Ottoman Empire into two administrative districts. Jews would be permitted only west of the Jordan river. In effect, the British had "chopped off" 75% of the originally proposed Jewish Palestinian homeland to form an Arab Palestinian nation called Trans-Jordan (meaning "across the Jordan River").
The 1947 U.N. Resolution 181 partition plan was to divide the remaining 25% of Palestine into a Jewish Palestinian State and a SECOND Arab Palestinian State (Trans-Jordan being the first) based upon population concentrations. The Jewish Palestinians accepted... the Arab Palestinians rejected.
Thay have already settled for less than 25% of what was originally promised them, in the interests of peace and coexistence.

Buy it back.
Israel was created from land the UN purchased. Prior to that, the region was primarily under British control. The land wasn't just taken by force, regardless of what revisionist demagogues try to claim half-a-century later.
Now, for the Native Americans, there is a difference. They have valid treaties with the US government, giving them specific rights to certain territory. The US government just ignores those treaties whenever they don't suit government agendas.
But the Native Americans could do some fund raising, and repurchase thousands of acres of their homelands. But that would put them back to being under US control, since those lands they would repurchase are not protected as sovereign territory under the treaties.

I don't think that the Native Americans will get their land back, but I would support any action that the USA could do to "do right by these people"
My grandmother was 100% Sioux. I guess that makes my bloodline 25% Native American.

I wish!! But it will never happen. This government did their job well when they inflicted genocide on my people. We are Americans just like you now. I would love to have our land back, but let's be real, I love to drive my car with the A/C on while 50 cent is playing and my nails are done and I'm on my way to McDonalds. As much as I wish we live differently, we don't. You can't compare Jews with Native Americans, we aren't the same.

Native Americans had no claim to the land as a matter of ownership. Needless to say though, they were not pleased when white men started to claim it.

You can say the same thing to the Muslims, who feel they are entitled to Spain. It is an Islamic teaching that no one can take land from a muslim. They believe that once they own a land, it is theirs forever. So what happens when they want Spain back, who will you support then, since you seem to be on their side now?
