they want both because most post thing they already know here on answer so they are just ranting .or giving their own opinion .so most of the time i either agree or disagree

The number 1 thing I like to see is an answer that is polite, fact-based or at least thought out in a rational, logical manner.
It doesn't bother me to have an opposing view but I do find it absolutely distasteful when ppl have to be insulting just because they do not agree with my point of view.
I personally think that YAHOO needs to have a large banning sweep with a NO TOLERANCE STANCE and get rid of ppl that can not answer a question with saying, 'are you stupid' or 'could u be more stupid' or just flat out 'u r stupid'.
Everybody, even if they are not brilliant, has a right to come here and NOBODY should be insulted in that manner just for asking a question or voicing an opinion.

My wish list for Y! Answers:
Statement of opinion preferably opposite mine, a bit of fact to back the opinion, logical connections between facts and conclusions, no name calling.

honest opinions with citable verifiable (somehow) fact... or at least logic...
but apparently that is too much to ask on here the vast majority of the time... of course there are exceptions...
I don't care what your opinion is so much as I care "how you came to your conclusions"
