I had a DVD that was lost in the mail and I was not charged for it. They do tell you that if they receive too many complaints of DVDs lost in the mail from you they will deactivate your account.

If they get lost in the mail or arrive damaged they don't. But they do monitor it and I believe they will cancel your account if a lot go missing. I had one go missing when I returned it and another that never arrived.

ONLY IF IT BECOMES A HABIT, 3 OF MINE WERE LOST AFTER SENDING THEM BACK TO NETFLIX, THEY SHUT YOUR ACCOUNT DOWN UNTIL YOU CONTACT THEM, THEN THEY RE ACTIVATE YOU..SOME OF MINE WERE LOST COMING TO ME FROM NETFLIX, BUT WHEN I CALLED THEM AFTER 6 DAYS OF NOT RECEIVING THEM, THEY JUST SENT ME ANOTHER COPY. IF IT BECOMES A HABIT, THEY INVESTIGATE THE POST OFFICE...SO IT'S BEST NOT TO STEAL THEM, LOL
