I always here that white people have no rhythem, and colored people have tons. I myself think this is true since I have absolutely no rhythem at all. So if you come from a mixed family, what kind of rhythem or lack there of do you have? Which would be more dominant?

Calm down people! I never meant this as a stereotypical question, by no means. So lets get rid of the color part of the question then. Why is it some people have "Rhythm" and others don't? Why does it come natural for some and others have to learn it? Is it too late to learn to have Rhthym?
Sorry for any offense.

Look I'm not mixed, but there is a percentage of white in me just like most black people, but I'm going to answer anyway. There are two things that you need to know about dancing a black people.
First of all, the reason that you think black have rhythm and can dance is because of the music we listen to. Hip-Hop and R&B music has a beat, you can dance to a beat. In general white people listen to rock or pop or alternative music or whatever. That kind of music you can't dance to. As far as dancing the most you can do is jump up and down. So when it comes time to dance they can't.
Second all white people have the abililty to dance and have rythem. It depends on the kind of people you hang out with. If you don't know anyone how can dance you're not going to pick it up from them. Black people are exactly the same they are just more expossed to the music and dancing and that kind of culture. I hope I helped.
And as far a mixed people go the ones that I know are more black so they are fine with rythem.

Well that would depend on which race is more dominant in the particular family like for ex sample if the black person in the family acted white then the kid's would probably act more white or vice versa,But I know alot of white people that can dance maybe you should just take some dance lessons.

That is a silly stereotype, some white people have rhythm just like some black people don't. How do you think white people would be able to drum, or play any instrument, or dance, if they had no rhythm? Just because YOU can't do it, doesn't mean that all white people can't do it. That would be like me saying "I am left handed, therefore all white people are left handed."

I personally am white and have some degree of rhythm. I have yet to dance with anyone who did have any kind of good rhythm though, not like I can dance well either. I was in band with mostly white kids though, and we seemed to be ok in that way. I don't know.

That is sooooo stereotypical. Only us Latins have any sense of rhythm - regardless of color. It was proven in the famous "Experimento de Salsa" study done by the University of Puerto Rico.

In general, you might be right, although I think Latins also have good rythym...
and remember, there are always exceptions to everything. There are plenty of blacks w/out rhythm, and whites who have it.
In regards to your mixed question, I think it can come out either way. Our friends are mixed, and one daughter has ryhthm and the other doesn't. Just depends on what comes out in the genes, I guess!

Because you are white and have no rhythm, all white people have no rhythm? That's pretty ridiculous. It's like saying all Asians know how to fold origami, or all Cubans smoke cigars.

I've seen it go both ways. I can dance LAMF and I'm white so this stereotype doesn't completely hold true. But for the most part it does.

I believe that rhythm can be (and is) learned. Granted, certain ethnicity's pride themselves on THEIR type of rhythm but this is simply learned through constant exposure.
No one of any ethnicity should limit themselves because they don't think they're as good as anyone else.
