2500 targets have been hit by the Israeli military.

3050 Hezbollah rockets have landed in Israel

These figures are from the BBC and assuminmg they're correct then on the face of it it looks like Hezbollah has struck harder against Israel but what's not taken into account is the size and damage caused by the ordnance.

See the link below for numbers of casualties, damage caused, financial impact etc

As far as I know none. All bombs and shells were targeted to be dropped on Hezbollah. Lebanon just happened to be where Hezbollah was at the time.

I'm sure if Hezbollah went to Syria and launched it's rockets from there Israel would still be trying to to drop bombs on them there too.

I dont' think Israel really targets civilians or towns just for target practice. Hezbollah just happens to like staying at the Red Roof Inns and there are always plenty of civilians staying in those places. and they are always in towns.

As of 9 Aug, approximately 46,000 bombs. I'm not sure how this equates to tonnages as many bombs are of different weights and types according to the manufacturers. This number is based on UN estimations. I doubt however they have someone personally counting each bomb so I'd guess there is a margin for error give or take 10%.
