i just found out that i am having my period now (i'm 14) and i dont have a mom (she commited suicide after giving birth to me.) or any sisters. who can i talk to and what do i do. there are no tampons in the house.

ah good old times ha ha no not really...well talk to Ur friends they can help u out even if they don't have there period...for the meantime, i know this may sound a lil weird, but use toilet paper for now until u get some tampons or pads..my advise it to use tampons, pads feel like Ur wearing a diaper lol not good...PS sry to hear about Ur mom:,(

It must really suck, coming into womanhood and no one to celebrate with!!
Ask any woman you know--even your next door neighbor-- for a little help. I guarantee you she can hook you up with a package of narrow maxipads. (Hold off on the tampons for a few months. Trust us) There's no need to feel embarassed to ask any woman, even your English teacher, for a little support. We older ladies (I'm 30) really don't mind. Really! Most of us are actually honored when a girl comes to us like that.

You need to tell whoever you are living with to take you to the store to buy some tampons or pads. You must live with your father or grandparents. Until you can get to the store fold up some toliet paper and put that in your underwear.

just ask ur dad 4 10 dollars and if he asks why tell him girl problem.he'll get the picture.
then ask a friend or something to drive u 2 the drug store to buy pads and tampons.

call a friend or relative. u also might want to use pads 1st then try tampons later. Tampons can hurt if u put them in wrong.

Well, you talk to a female teacher or the school nurse. Or, write a letter to your dad. I 'm sorry about your situation. For now, use tolet paper or go buy some pads.

sweetie, is there any aunts that you have or any female neighbors that can help?
If not, you can try to use toilet paper to line your panties. And sweetie you really need to tell your father or guardian what has happened. They will understand, and sweet heart remember that this is part of nature.

just tell a family member that youre close to and you trust. for the moment, use a lot of toilet paper is the best suggestion i could give you. or you can jsut go out yourself and buy yourself some.

Well I think 14 is old enough to be able to cope and go to the shops on your own to buy supplies of you are not able or don't want to tell anyone.

If you have any close friends I suggest talking to her mother, or one of your family members about this situation. Don't worry I have had friends in the same situation and everything will be ok.
