It is normal to first get overwhelmed, you are used to doing "nothing" during summer.
Cut things out you really don't need:
No TV
No Radio
No telephone converstaions
Cut your internet use to school work only.
First few weeks, concentrate on your work only and nothing else. Do not volunteer for anything, do not go to parties, simply immerse yourself in what lays at hand. It will be good for you, because it will be harder still when you go to college or a university or start working and being a mom. This is training for your future!!! Take this as a challenge.

Prioritize.
Learn the difference between homework and studying. Studying is the art of learning something new by linking it with something you already know. Homework is just that. Set aside time for each and you will be better off.
And tell your parents maybe you are overbooked. Take charge of your own time by telling them dance and guitar come after school. It will be refreshing.

At first it can be overwhelming but first things first it sounds as if you need to lock yourself in your room for at least one Saturday get out a calender...and start to write down everything you need to do write down the time you should wake up, be dressed, be at school, your class times. Check out the link below for further information and remember feeling overwhelmed can simply solved by just getting a little organized!

You just have to find your new routine and it will get better. If you think this is overwhelming, wait until you get to college.

I agree with Nicky T..... just try not to over think things. When that happens you can stress yourself out for no reason.

You'll get over it. You'll have to take a look at your schedule and judge if you want to slow something down, stop something...you'll have to do this all your life, time organization and management.
