Help! I need info that has been bugging me for 3 years. I teach using video clips, and one of the concepts I teach is allusions. There are so many stories that allude (refer to) Star Trek through such lines as "Beam me up Scotty," "Looks like we got us a Klingon, Cap'in," "Scotty, I need warp\more power! (& Scott's reply) "Cap'in, I'm givin' 'er all she's got!" and then the math reference (regarding one of their high tech gadgets) of "This is a powerful instrument, at 1 to the 25th power." I finally have my hands on all three seasons on DVD and I am watching them one at a time, but it is taking FORever! Can someone out there help narrow the field a bit???

Except for the math reference, (which frankly I don't remember), and "beam me up Scotty" , (which they never actually said- this is a myth that's evolved over time), they are sprinkled throughout the series; the second and third seasons had their fair share of campy dialogue. I also like Mc Coy's classic lines..."He's dead, Jim", and "I'm a doctor, not a... (whatever)".
There are a lot of Trek fan sites that have episode-by-episode breakdowns and feature classic lines. I'd google it, and suspect you will find exactly what you seek.

Star Trek Trivia fact: They never said "Beam me up Scotty". They said "Mr. Scott, [x number] to beam up." The actual phrase beam me up didn't get used until the movies started coming out.
