as long as there is a human race, it will never go away. Humans want to see differences that will divide them. Thats why I hope that mankind is destroyed by aliens.

No. There are many truths I do not know, but that one I am pretty sure about.

Why? Because society is simply too complex and diverse and it was only when we were all brought together than life started getting complicated isn't it?

Think of it...before Columbus crossed the ocean blue...everyone had their own place and space on this planet....thus many cultures formed. Some evolved, some didn't. As we evolved we started crossing territories and not only did we bring different cultures together but upset a lot of the Eco system in the process unleashing many of the diseases and natural catastrophes (killer bees, plagues, etc.) that exist today. The first people who visited the pigmes in Africa killed them all off as non had ever been exposed to the common cold.

So if you think, really think about where racism may have had it's roots...I think you can go far back as the creation of man.

I don't think that it will ever completely go away. It is too easy to hate and too hard to love. We tend to find faults with others that really are a part of ourselves. However, if we do all become the same race which I have heard that theory alot, we will find some other form of hate to take its place. Without conflict and struggle we can not become better people so there will always be some form of evil thought and racism in the world.

I don't think so mainly because of a few reasons 1) there will always be people looking for someone to blame for their misfortunes 2)on the whole i've noticed that we as a people strive for conflict of some kind or another, racism is just one example 3) and this is just an opinion based on things i've seen even if there was only one colour left we would just start people would just start in on left-handed people. All in all i can't see it going away but it doesn't matter "all blood is red" and with that fact it is simply the racists themselves who have to live in their own small view of the world, it won't be me who dies angry and pissed off for no good reason
Adieu

No, I believe racism is a part of human evolution and tribalism. When the tribes disappeared people desperately looked for a group to cling to. Any kind of group would do; church group, favorite sports team, color of the skin. In the point of skin color or nation of origin these boundaries became fierce and with the increasing over population people had to get much closer in proximity to another group that they ever had to in the past million years of evolution with tribe separated by much greater distances. Some people were raised to respect all races and nations but most families don't cover this point of education or even teach hate unintentionally with the way they treat or behave around people different from their selves. Racism may have developed from a tribal nature to maintain the independent, individual tribes and their traditions and rules. People these days are just living a poisonous lifestyle with no extended cohesive community as our ancestors did.

Even if we are mixed - one and only race - there will still be racism. Racism can go on many different levels and can be created artificially as well - if you know what I mean - It serves a lot of people. Besides, humankind will never be clever enough to wipe the racism off.

No it will not go away. There are so many people out there preaching about what color you should be, what religion, what sexual preference, even what country you come from. Ignorance is bliss to those who believe they are teaching their children the "right thing".
It is a shame that still today we have these types of issues. Will the vision of Dr. Martin Luther King ever be realized? Human beings free from persecution living as brothers and sisters, a world united. It would be a beautiful Utopian world, however it is not that easy. Everyone everywhere would have to join in hand in hand and Unite as One World. I am sorry but these are the facts.
One more thing I am so proud of my family we have what we like to call it as "The United Nations" we have multi-racial couples, children, our religious beliefs vary, same sex partners, a wide range of cultures and beliefs in our extended families and we LOVE everyone as an individual.

No. I'm not sure that I really need to elaborate more than that, but there are always going to be people that don't like others for no good reason. It is the simple truth of man.

Edit: I also don't believe that everyone will become one race. Someday many moons from now there may be a primary race, but there will always be people that will not mix with other races. For example, after many generations in the United States and plenty of time to dilute the blood lines of our families, my husband and I are having a baby that 5/8ths Irish.

Nope, since there are some on this website. People will always be jealous or scared of each other, there are always be people that won't like others who aren't the same as them. Racism is just a stupid reaction to difference. People are all different and we've got to accept the fact that everybody will never be perfectly the same as us.

And whats wrong with racism, Remember the races separated at the Tower of Babel. Seems it was the way God wanted it. People are different and should not be required to like the same things.

you want to know why racism will never go away? 2 reasons .... for 1 the definition that the word "racism" has assigned to it is bogus ...its a buzzword used by anybody against anything they dont like ...all u have to do is be a diffrent race or culture to fit the term ... the big #2 is that racism will never go away because the bottom line is that people LOVE to be offended ... they thrive on it ...
