There are a lot of features in J2EE, but at this newer release of J2EE 5 (J2EE 1.5) you can find that, now implements annotations (meta data), new EJB 3.0 that makes to build EJB's most easily than before; the new Java Persistence API, etc.

It will take about 50 pages to describe. So better go to sun site.Java and J2EE are not same things.
