Of course its LOVE. However, be prepared to W-A-I-T because as you said, "adults don't take you seriously." However, even 50-75 years ago, you would probably have been married or with-in a year of it.

Times have changed here in America tho, and we must respect that. Listen to your parents with respect, and hopefully, they will listen to you in return. Within a year or two they will notice YOU ARE STILL TOGETHER and start taking you more seriously. However, BE MATURE and do not have sex, as this is an "immature act" and will only make life miserable for everyone, YOURSELVES INCLUDED, and you WILL lose any respect they had for you!

Your parents love you and they WILL COME AROUND! Just give them time!

Love is a human emotion, of course young teenagers can love. The problem is -it's all chemical. In the brain. Nature is saying your body is mature enough for sex therefore it's mature enough for making babies. Fight the feelings. Don't let them control you.

of course! the first time fell in love i was a 12 year old! and believe me at the time i didn't think there was anything wrong with it. no one can tell you that you can't fall in love when you're young! there are young kids who are more in love than married couples! =)

As someone who has been there, semi recently I can say yes I do. However, the odds of you and him together forever are less then winning the lottery. Trust me, if it falls apart the world will still go on!

no even if you did get married at this age by the time you were in your late 20's you would have grown apart people change and what keeps you together now won't later on.

Of course. I think that once you are a teen, you can date and feel what you want. As long as you love him, why does it MATTER what the other fools think?
