Just divorcing after 12 years, is there going to be someone out there for me and when?

Well, do you want there to be someone out there for you? And when will you be ready to look for that person?

I divorced after 15 years and wasn't ready to date for more than a year after the divorce was final. When I finally felt it was time, I just let myself be "open" to new people, and sure enough, I found myself in the company of handsome, smart, nice men who were interested in me! And so, I dated some of them...

Now, I am happily married to one of those handsome, smart, nice men.

It's not about being psychic--it's about knowing you still have love to give and wanting to share that love with the right person.

No need to be psychic to answer this. I see quite a few of us have been through the same thing so I wont elaborate on it. I'll just say after 12+ yrs I found myself in a divorce situation and thankfully I had a great friend by my side. This friend turned out to be the greatest love of my lifetime and we're about to be married in 17 days.

I myself divorced after 12 years, I had lost my identity, and had to first reconstruct my whole life. I even came out and began dating women....I am very happy that I did that!

Don't concentrate on who is out there for you, but concentrate on getting to know yourself and respect yourself and what you need, then your next relationship will be a better one.
