ok one time I broke out really bad and my confidence droped, a little. A friend told me about this and it works.

wash your face really good at night and dab toothpaste on the area that is irritated. in the mornig wash again and then put mouthwash on a q-tip put it directly on acne. After all of this mosterize and DONT TOUCH YOUR FACE.

This condition will go away in I swear- 2-3 days. (depending on how bad it is) Girl if you are going to try anything, please try this!

Why stick to home remedies? In my experience, spreading egg whites on my face as a mask, lemon juice, or any other kind of home remedy (toothpaste, baking soda etc.) never worked for me. Don't get me wrong though, it may for you.

Depending on how soon your school starts, if it starts tomorrow, the best you can do is wash your face with a cleanser that contains benzoyl peroxide (Clean & Clear Continuous Control Daily Cleanser) and follow up with a toner (Clean & Clear Clarifying Toner). Then, put on an oil-free moisturizer that is also non-comedogenic (Neutrogena Moisture for Sensitive Skin) because dry skin makes acne worse.

FINALLY, stop stressing over it. Believe it or not, if you forget about a pimple, it means you won't keep touching/picking at it or stressing over it. This will cause it to greatly reduce in size and redness, and quite possibly disappear. But if you keep stressing over it and thinking about it constantly, it will not go away faster than you think.

Good luck with everything!

Citrus, like grapefruit, cut in half and rubbed on the affected area after washing

For specific pimples, I've heard of:

baking soda paste - left on until dry
white toothpaste - left on until dry
windex - dabbed on
sulpher - taken internally (check w/your dr. first)

There is also a vast array of non-home remedies at the drugstore, which are actually reasonably priced.
